Emotion is the strangest thing. As often as it is studied, and as often as we come close to predicting its path, we can never quite understand it. It is far easier to understand the emotional state of someone else, then to figure out why you feel the way you do. There are very few that can conclude why they hate, love, and everything in between. Do we have mastery over our feelings that lead to our actions? Is it even us that control the way we feel? Maybe that is the reason it is so easy to diagnosis someone else before ourselves. Another person is able to view all the factors that contribute to your emotions, while you can only perceive things from the inside looking out.
From the people around you, to your environment, to the situations that you are in, these factors can directly affect the way you feel. Your up-bringing, or the way you were socialized as a child have little influence on your emotions compared to these outside factors.
If i analyze my emotional state can i change from the inside to make myself better? I do believe so, but you would be going in circles if you are surrounded by things contradict what you are trying to accomplish.
But think of this for a minute, do we sometimes put ourselves in certain situations and certain environments to try to bring out certain emotions. If we have these suppressed emotions that would consider us a bad or out casted by society, do we surround ourselves by negativity to allow our emotions to be released. Then when good does present itself, there is reason not to enjoy it. In a world full of hate, it is the good who is out casted.
In contrast surrounding ourselves by good could also bring out the good in us as well. In the world we are in now, the opposite seems more likely. But certain people, these special anomalies have a way of automatically changing things around them to match their emotional state. These are the people that you should always be around, or as far from as possible.

road to everywhere
Curious is the nature of life. How it twist and turns you. What else is there to do but to sit and laugh at its deceitfulnesses. Like a child in the presents of all his favorite toys, "what to play with first?" Many are the times that certain paths do not lead to our expected destination. Instead of asking ourselves "how did i get here?", does a better man think "wow! i am here". -craziness- Its not where i was headed, but its always where i wanted to go. The journey of living. Being alive. To live. To Pursue. To Venture. Why carry a map if your journey is uncharted. Is confiding in a map the same as being instructed how to live. The person who listens would probably believe the world is flat, and not venture to discover the truth for themselve.

good intentions bad outcome
I was a told, sometime ago, that the road of good intentions is paved with hell. Through experience, I have found that there is much truth in that statement. For most of the actions of a moral man are backed by good intention. But bad outcomes seem to arise from these actions. That brings the question, which holds more value; the intentions of an action, or the consequences.
We being the good people that we are, instinctively believe that the intentions hold more value, because it directly reflects the person preforming that action. But in the world we live in today; the consequences seem to bear more weight. This is the very reason why nice guys finish last, because there are to many variables to sway their actions, preventing their desired outcome.
How many times have we thought, its not how you get there as long as you are there. Is that us overlooking the good man, overlooking that path that has lead him to where he is. In essence, the true question is; "is it the journey or the destination that is more important?" The answer to that may seem simple. But then you can ask yourself, "is it the journey or the destination that has more influence on a man?"

Morals/Fear
Do you consider yourself a moral person? Most people would. Morals are imprinted on us from an early age, and in most cases carry on with us for life. Even if our moral run into conflict with our hidden desires, we tend to still abide by them. But why? What makes us color inside the lines when we could freehand the picture anytime we like. --Fear. It is fear that makes us conform with written and unspoken morals. Weather it be the fear of God, in religious cases; the fear of being out casted by society; or the fear of the repercussions that rebelling might bring. It is fear that controls mostly all our actions. Its is fear that builds empires as well as destroys them.
Does a person who has no fears have no morals. Or does the person with no fear decide what is morally right. A society with no fear would be full of chaos, for people would act solely on instinct, disregarding all consequences. Instead of the fear that morals bring, there would simply be the fear of the actions of man. Is there really a difference now?
A society with no fear/morals = CHAOS
A society with one person with no fear/morals = Our current political rule.

no handlebars....
i can ride my bike with no handlebars, no handlebars, no handlebars. "Impossible!", was the though held by my juvenile mind. But now... now it is as effortless as these passages i write, or the craziness i utter to jolt the mind. Thus leaving it to meander outside of the box. We have been conditioned to believe that just maintaining is impossible, to the point where life does become hopeless. But when you sit back and analyze our thought process as a child compared to now, the only thing that has changed are the obstacles to overcome. For i can ride my bike with no handlebars, i can climb the highest mountain, and do anything i set my mind to, as long as i dive in headfirst with a childlike mentality. The greatest minds are the ones with no limitation. So whats stopping you? Release your mind, even if there is nothing but craziest in it. There is a thin line between genius and madness. And if anything, the worse thing that could come of your new found freedom is you being declared insane. But in a mad world the sane are crazy. It is only the ones in power that decide who is mentally fit. --Caging the genius, and having society loose the key. You don't need to physically see chains to be imprisoned.
i can ride my bike with no handlebars, no handlebars, no handlebars. What will i do next?
Flobots-handlebars.(playing in the background) worth checking out

Change
Forced into the corner of inevitability. Trying to comply with what instinct is telling us to do...deny change. Why compromise a comfortable existence; why alter something that delivers consistency for a trip into the unknown. Why change? Change is not only necessary, but vital. Without change everything would be at a halt, what role would purpose serve if alterations were not accompanied with it. An evolution of a state of being. Change. For the better or for the worst, but all for a reason. So embrace the sting of change. For in a world where no good thing last forever, its nice to know that some things change.

Why Suffer.
Sometimes we are put in a position where there is seemly no way out. Weather it comes out of life's misfortunes, or mistakes we may have made, life often puts us in great agony. We may ask, what is the purpose of this suffering; why has it has been place on our shoulders? We must must not look at suffering as a curse but a blessing. It is through the discipline of great suffering that has created the elevation of mankind. It is that very tension of the soul in which misfortune cultivates strength. It is the terror of great destruction which brings bravery. For man only knows what he is capable of when he is pushed to his boundaries. Only through great suffering comes great Men. No man chooses to suffer, but a great man embraces it.
Keep Ya head up Rod, for i know you are a great man.

Truth
Truth. Its very essence seems so captivating. But do we really long for truth, or are we pleased with the pseudo reality that keeps us content. Are we really seeking a filtered truth? One altered to benefit the way we already think.
What is real truth? What sets the bases for what is valid? If the standards for truth are set by past scholars, then how can we conclude that they are actually valid, and not simply another man's ideas of truth. One of the most powerful forms of control is having everyone think like you, to live your truth, and believe it. In a sense if i deny the known truths am i outcasting myself from society or am i just denying the ideas of another man. Refusing to be controlled. Actually thinking for myself.

The End
Cyclones in Myanmar, Earthquakes in China, Volcanoes in Peru, war, famine, disease, a black president, Mariah marring Nick Cannon!... The end never seemed so close. Or has it? Did the end of Humanity come the minute man took his first breathe, or when Kevin Ferderline put out his first album?
For what is man, but a rational animal. Over time man's rational instincts has slowly been overcome by his carnal desires, taking away the main aspect that separates him from the animals he governs. Man is becoming a prisoner of his irrational passions, losing the capacity for objectivity. He has come to their mercy, acting on their every command. With all rationality faded, the blindfold has fallen, letting him see that he was on the plank from the start. "Oh! this is the end!", he exclaims. But the end has always been there, it has just now become evident. --The End of the world? No. For the only thing wrong with this world is the driving force behind it. The world will be here, but the problem that plagues it may not.
**I am a proud supporter of the Obama campaign, but you know they always give black people things when its gone to shit.

Purpose
Purpose. The Exclamation mark on this routine we call life. The one thing that some believe they have but cannot pinpoint what it is. Why everything starts, and why everything ends. Purpose. So taking this in perspective, why are we alive? Are we born to die? To a pessimist maybe, but to a person who seeks greater things, we are born to live, and only die when we cannot live any more. Life!?... Yet another another enigma. A question that cannot be answered in words, but only displayed in time. So eminent to some, so meaningless to others. Life, Purpose. With this in mind, you can ask yourself, "why am I alive?" If your eyes roll to the upper left corner of your head, maybe life doesn't mean the same to you as it does to me. Or maybe we are all blinded by this idea called "life". But at least in the dark I am searching for the light....thus giving me purpose.

Settling down, or just settling?
Humans beings are social creatures that long for that perfect answer to the conundrum we call "relationships". We have an instinctual nature to find someone to share ourselves with. But are we falling into the trap of just settling? Are we satisfied with someone we can be content with, instead of finding our perfect half. Does the perfect half even exist? With everyone we share a relationship with there is always something that we wish we could change. And when we meet someone that we idealize to be perfect, one who has all the qualities we expect.... don't they seem to be out of our reach. Or even at best, when we do seem to capture that special piece to magic to call our own, do we realize that it was really just smoke and mirrors. Is the perfect relationship a figment of our imagination?
In pursuit of perfection, if perfection is reached, does having nothing left to pursuit takeaway our purpose. Thus tarnishing our found perfection. Maybe that is the reason we just settle. For with imperfection, we can strive to blotch out all blemishes, making a relationship a work in progress. A beautiful masterpiece that will never be finish. But can we truly be happy with that? Or does our idolize perfection linger in the back our heads?
I doubt i will find a knock-out woman, that sings, cooks, plays video games, works out, and watches sports. But one can hope right. Besides when you expect perfection, perfection is to be expected as well. And I am far from perfect. But it is our imperfections that makes us perfect for each other, and nothing is better then creating a masterpiece with someone who shares the same vision as you.
