I was a told, sometime ago, that the road of good intentions is paved with hell. Through experience, I have found that there is much truth in that statement. For most of the actions of a moral man are backed by good intention. But bad outcomes seem to arise from these actions. That brings the question, which holds more value; the intentions of an action, or the consequences.
We being the good people that we are, instinctively believe that the intentions hold more value, because it directly reflects the person preforming that action. But in the world we live in today; the consequences seem to bear more weight. This is the very reason why nice guys finish last, because there are to many variables to sway their actions, preventing their desired outcome.
How many times have we thought, its not how you get there as long as you are there. Is that us overlooking the good man, overlooking that path that has lead him to where he is. In essence, the true question is; "is it the journey or the destination that is more important?" The answer to that may seem simple. But then you can ask yourself, "is it the journey or the destination that has more influence on a man?"

i believe its the journey that has more influence. once you reach your destination, you dont suddenly start learning, you learn through out your journey.
