One Day
One Day. An anticipated time of completion. Ambition fuelled and drowned by hope. Enduring the pain that is felt day by day, because of that clear view of that day to come. We retreat ever so often to a gasp a breathe of relief. Just to dull the twinge of hardship that pierces an already tired soul. But not to indulge entirely-- For each breathe that is taken, is one less to hold in the future. Save that unneeded sighs in hope that it will turn into an endless breathing pattern. So when that anticipated time come, it does not turn into what it actually is... just one day

Hind sight is 20/20, while viewing an ambitious future seems to be legally blind. Best intentions seem to be the fuel for the most glorious destruction. And in this virtuous journey we seem to find failure. Failure to be...
Amount to nothing, and become all that you can be...
or amount to something and take away a small piece of what you are.

The Pain of Pleasure
It is not the intensity, but the duration of a high feeling that makes a high man. It is not that one second of pure ecstasy, but the drawn out ride on cloud 9 that is the essence of a happy man.
To what pain do you owe the pleasure of that one moment? To expend all of your energy for one moment seems silly. But it is that blind pleasure that seems to lure us to experience something of mammoth proportions, even if it is for a split second. Then to rewind it in our heads, until the potency diminishes, and we are left where we started. In search of that one moment.
But a wise man does not waste his time with instant pleasures. He does not search for one intense moment. Instead he lives life to the fullest in an everlasting moment of bliss. Though it is not as intense as another's moment, or as extravagant as others... it is his ever lasting happiness.
Sometimes the simple pleasures are the best ones. Sometimes the road to pleasure is the pleasure itself. Sometimes pain arises from those intense pleasures. All because we can not hold on to anything forever, unless it is forever itself.

Escape to freedom
What is your form of escape. A book, conversation, your hobby, a blog? What takes us to the place outside of ourselves?
... But what are we really escaping from? What chains have bound us to the point where we sit and plot of a way to break them, or at least loosen their grip? Is it life, or the lack there of? Its funny the bondage that seems the most confining is the one we put ourselves in. We complain about the claustrophobia as we nail in our own box.
Is it really freedom we want? For we know everything that is in our box, no harm there. Its so much easier to be masochistic. When people tell us what to do, life just happens. right? If you consider that living. But breaking down our enclosure, biting that hand that feeds us, leaves us out in a world by ourselves. Then we realize how insignificant we really are. We can sit and bask in the glory of the escape that we have always tired to obtain. Its finally here....and we are there to enjoy it, all by ourselves. All alone. Isolation is worth it for a taste of freedom, for the tension of the soul is relieved. And then and only then is it able to flourish.

The symphony of words.
Words are the gateway to the conscience mind. But they are only gateways and cannot be mistaken for the conscience itself. For words without meaning are just uttered nonsense, an array of sounds meshed together to form different tones. Sounds without focus that become nothing more then noise. The pure essences of empty thoughts --noise. So articulate your thoughts before you put them into words. For words can be compared to notes on a musical score; they may represent a tone but cannot compare to the tone itself.

divulging nature
I want to be loved, I want to be seen, I want to show, i want to be... It is human nature to want to display what we're truly capable of. Even the deepest closet introvert wants the world to take notice, if not to them personally, then to any extension of themselves. There is no greater disappointment then to never be needed by anyone for anything. Us trying to display what we can do, is just over compensation for wanting to be needed. Like a grand piece of artwork, if it is not admired then it has no value. For what is the the worth of an unseen masterpiece? How can you cherish a wasted talent?
There is a deeper psychology to the childish "show and tell". For it is the primer for greater "show and tell", which is our life.

Dont hear me Listen to me
Do you hear the things people tell you, or do you listen to them. Do you really absorb everything someone says, or do you just wait for your turn to speak. After all, whats sweeter then the sound of your own voice...right? A hidden man replaces speech for silence, and uses language for concealment. For in the midst of verbal diarrhea, how can you discern if true knowledge was really consumed. A wise man need say nothing, like a sponge he can absorb everything and filter out fallacies. So which are you...
