Memories are the streams that our conscience flows on. They take us back to past events and direct our future actions. Our memories are what makes us who we are. The theory of personal identity known as psychological reductionism states; "as my stream of conciseness continues, then i continue". When we lose our memory do we lose ourselves as well? With the lost of memory do we gain a little piece of death? As my memory fades so does my life? We may think twice about forget-me-nots....
