What We Want

What do we want in life. What do we really want. What are our true desires? Why do we as people want certain things? Is it because they are rare? Because they set us apart from others, or maybe we just want what we cannot have. What is the bases for human desire? When we analyze ourselves do we find that we want one thing, only because it leads to another? Is there even just one thing that we really want? Most people think they truly desire happiness. But can that be narrowed down to one thing, or are there an array of things that lead to happiness. But if you can choose an emotional state and label it as an obtainable desire, which would it be. Peace, Love, Happiness? Surely they can intertwine, but they can also work independently. Love without peace, which is the case most of the time. Happiness without love... What is it that we really desire...

When you ask me what i want, my reply is simple. I want what the next man wants...i just want it more.
